2019 District A1 Convention
On the weekend of April 5-7, several members of the Strathroy Lions Club attended the District A1 convention in London. A great time was had by all in the spirit of Lionism.

46th Lions TV Auction Brings In Almost $16,000 Thanks To The Community
The annual 46th Strathroy Lions TV Auction was held last week and Member of the Auction Committee Gary Zimmerman says he was happy with the community support. Zimmerman said the annual two day auction raised almost $16,000 for various programs. He says the auctions have always been a great way to bring in some extra funds for the Lions and their community partners. The Lions Club wishes to thank the entire community for it’s continuous support of Lions events.
Lions Donate To Strathroy Lacrosse
This week a show of community support as the Strathroy Lions took time out of their busy auction schedule to present Strathroy’s newest minor sports organization the Strathroy Screaming Eagles Minor Lacrosse Association with a cheque for $500. Screaming Eagles President Jon Balzer says this is very appreciative. Lion Dave Nagy says the Lions are about giving back to the community and supporting all local minor sporting organizations. The money will go towards start up costs such as jerseys, facility rental and officials.
