IMPORTANT LIONS AUCTION ONLINE VIEWING DETAILS ON ROGERS TV…………
The Strathroy Online Auction Preview will begin airing on Rogers CH13 this coming Saturday and will run the following times from then until December 1st.
12pm – Daily
4pm – Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday
Sunday – 7pm
Tuesday – 9pm
Wednesday – 10pm
Saturday – 8pm
Lions Auction Goes All Online Starting November 30th (All Details)
For the first time in it’s history the Strathroy Lions’ Biggest fundraiser will turn to all online this year. In December the Lions Auction will take place for a longer period of time and you can grab items for your shopping list from the comfort of your own home. Here are the details…
1) The auction will be turned on for public viewing November 23rd.
2) BIDDING BLOCK 1 – will start November 30th for items 1 to 180 and will CLOSE at noon December 6th.
3) Pick up for Block 1 will be Saturday December 7th at the hall 9-2pm.
4) BIDDING BLOCK 2 – December 7th for items 181 to 292 and will CLOSE December 13th at noon.
5) Pick up for Block 2 December 14th at the hall 9-2pm.
6) ALL items will be available for viewing on the Auction tab at www.strathroylions.com
PLEASE NOTE:
Bidders will have to create an account with email etc. before they can bid on ANY items.
There is a PDF copy of the flyer on the auction site for people to peruse as well as items listed in order.
Ricco Foods Donates $7500 To Lions Santa Claus Parade
Another year, another $7500 donation. The Strathroy Lions Ricco Foods Santa Claus Parade recently recieved its annual donation from name-sponser Ricco Foods. Owner Don Windsor says he donates each year because it’s important to stick with traditions.
Windsor said it’s all part on being a good community member which he hopes to be. The parade goes November 23rd at 1 p.m. To be a part of the parade you have to apply by November 18th. Visit the myFM office, or the Lions Club or Chamber of Commerce websites to get a form.
Santa Claus Parade Deadline Coming Up November 18th
Coming up November 23rd is another edition of the Strathroy Lions Club Ricco Foods Santa Claus Parade. Chair Rob Dack explains if you want to take part in the 57th annual parade, you must fill out an application.
Visit myFM or the Lions Facebook/Website to pick up an application. It’s also available in the Age Dispatch or on the Chamber of Commerce website. The parade wouldn’t be possible without Ricco Foods generous support Dack added. The deadline to apply is November 18th.

NOTE: ALL entries must be Christmas decorated and will be inspected for decorations before parade commences on November 23rd at 1pm.
Strathroy Lions Bingo – October 14 and 21, 2019 – Cancelled
Due to the Thanksgiving holiday Monday and Federal election, there will be no bingo on Monday, October 14 or Monday, October 21st. Bingo will return on Monday, October 28th.
Lions Craft Beer Night September 20th
SAVE THE DATE – Coming up September 20th is our Lions Craft Beer Night. NOTE the date change from the 13th to the 20th and ALL tickets previously purchased for the 13th WILL be accepted. See you September 20th at the Lions Hall.
Strathroy Lions Bingo – September 2, 2019 – Cancelled
Just a reminder that due to the Labour Day holiday, there will be no Strathroy Lions Bingo on Monday, September 2. Bingo will be back in action on Monday, September 9.
