With their usual efforts held back, and willingness to help the community limited due to the pandemic this year, the Strathroy Lions held a food drive this past Saturday to help out those in need. In cooperation from host businesses Walmart, Superstore and Food Basics, Lions President Mark Iggulden says it was something they felt they needed to do.
At the end of the day, the food drive brought in over $1000 in monetary donations and over 2000lbs in food for the Salvation Army. The Lions Club would like to send out a huge thank you to the host businesses and to the community for your generous support.
