Terms and Conditions

  1. You must be 18 years of age to bid on an item.
  2. You must complete the payment process upon receiving the “You have won”email. this will give you and order which is used for pickup/delivery.
  3. You must have a Valid Ontario Drivers License or hard and or digital copy of your order.
  4. No claims regarding goods purchased will be allowed. Bidders are reminded that all goods are sold on an ‘as is, where is’ basis, with all faults.
  5. We reserve the right to remove and/or add lots and/or items to the sale at any point during the auction.

  7. When you place your bid that confirms to us (Lions Auction) that you have read and accept all the rules.
  8. If there is any dispute over any item the Club President/Treasurer will make the final decision on behalf of the Lions TV auction.
  9. You are responsible to pick up the item (if you are out of town – make your own arrangements for pickup and payment), or if you are in Strathroy, it can be delivered.
  10. If you win an item and do not play for item the item will be offer to the last highest bidder at the offered bid and will be contacted . You may also be ban from other auctions.

REGISTRATION & IDENTIFICATION: At the time of registration, we collect information about you to verify who you are before you can bid.  All bidders must be of legal age to bid.

WINNING NOTIFICATION & INVOICING: Bidders are responsible for checking their bid history at the completion of auction. If any items are indicated as You Have Won in the bid history that means you won those items and should fill out payment info.  E-mail are sent within 24 hours of the auction closing, however order and winning emails regularly get blocked by ISPs and we have no idea if they have been delivered or not. Stating that an email was not received does not absolve a winning bidder from the auction terms and conditions. By bidding, auction bidders agree to check their bid history when the auction closes to see if they had successful bids or not.

PICKUPS & REMOVALS: Merchandise “Pick-up” – At the Lions Hall

Day 1: Saturday, Dec. 7th. from 9 AM to 2 PM

Day 2: Sunday, Dec. 14th from 9 AM to 2 PM

Merchandise “Delivery” if so requested – To be delivered (in the Strathroy area only) will be on Saturday from 9:00 AM to 12 noon.

CONDITIONS OF ITEMS SOLD: Our best efforts are made to represent all items accurately in descriptions and photographs; however, all items are ultimately sold on an ‘as is, where is’ basis, with all faults. No responsibility is assumed by Strathroy Lions for any errors or omissions.
